Preview of RINA-compliant FD100 Tri-Deck coming to Europe summer 2025
Horizon Yachts revealed more details of its first FD100 Tri-Deck tailored for the European market built to RINA classification standards at boot Düsseldorf 2025, the world’s largest yacht and watersports show held from January 18–26.
The upcoming summer launch of the FD100 Hull 12, the latest addition to the popular Fast Displacement (FD) Series designed by Cor D. Rover, generated considerable buzz and drew visitors and industry experts to Horizon’s expanded display in a prominent location in Hall 7a. 3D renderings and the final layout of the FD100 were revealed and provided a detailed visual experience to facilitate discussions with European clients about tailoring designs suited to their lifestyles.
Celebrating its 38th year, Horizon Yachts is recognized as one of the Top 10 yacht builders worldwide and offers sought-after bespoke services for its range of E, V, and FD Series motoryachts. At the show, Ron Boogaard, director of Horizon Yacht Europe, was delighted to engage with potential clients about customization options. He commented on the robust demand for high-volume yachts, highlighting the many attractive qualities of the FD Series’ formidable track record. “It’s no surprise that with over 65 FD Series yachts spanning eight models completed or in development across Europe, America, Australia, and Asia since its launch in 2016, this is the fastest-growing yacht series globally.”
The introduction of the FD100 Hull 12 brings a luxurious five-stateroom layout, complete with a full-beam master stateroom on the main deck. Other notable features include full-height windows in the main salon and dining areas, an enclosed skylounge, and expansive deck spaces perfect for outdoor enjoyment. The yacht’s contemporary interior is characterized by oak woodwork with a satin finish, accented by black metallic detailing and clean lines.
