Contemporary aesthetics crafted for indoor-outdoor expansive living in a five-stateroom and Tri-Deck configuration.
The latest FD100 build, Hull 13, presents a fresh take on Horizon’s popular 100-foot Tri-Deck model, fine-tuned to the tastes of an American clientele. This iteration prioritizes expansive open-air spaces that complement the exquisite interior design for a yachting experience second to none. If you’re attending the 2025 Palm Beach International Boat Show March 19–23, don’t miss the chance to see this marvel at Ramp 2, Slips 201-203, 207.
“The FD100 model continues to evolve. It offers owners a versatile platform for personalized expression while continuing to expand on the venerable, time-tested elements that work so well in the high-volume FD framework,” noted Roger Sowerbutts, Director at Horizon Yacht USA. “This latest build truly embodies this ethos, emphasizing seamless indoor-outdoor living and a modern design that resonates with American owners.”
Luminous Luxury
On the main deck, elegant light tones form the foundation of the main salon and dining areas with a harmony of bleached walnut and various Cambria, Caesarstone, and Rexstone finishes. This is accompanied by integrated ceiling lighting with four adjustable modes for brightness and color temperature. Further adding to the sensorial ambience are window columns accented with an engraved stone pattern.
An indoor bar area, complete with a Miele full-height wine cabinet, is positioned on the starboard side of the dining area. With a walnut starburst pattern and light wood inlay, the dining table is perched on a customized one-piece metal stand and accommodates seating for ten. This FD100 is appointed throughout with a curated selection of premium appliances from top-of-the-line brands, including Sub-Zero, Miele, and Scotsman. A Hi-Lo hand-carved screen styled with a wave pattern as well as concealed doors can be deployed for added privacy between the guests and the galley.
Forward, the on-deck master stateroom spans the yacht’s full beam and exhibits a fluid design that blends a leather headboard with subtle backlighting and a striking stone feature wall for artistic flair. For a private spot to enjoy the ever-changing sea views, a comfortable chaise lounge is positioned by the starboard window.
Power & Play
Rising from the lower deck to the bridge deck, dark leather trim and strategically placed strip lighting enhance the guest stairwell. Four ensuite staterooms are situated on the lower deck and comprise mirrored VIPs amidships, a convertible twin to port, and a third VIP in the bow. Additional storage facilities are available in the guest foyer opposite a laundry room. Private crew quarters, including a Captain’s cabin, and crew mess are positioned aft of the engine room housing the yacht’s twin 1,900hp CAT C32A engines.
Furthest aft, the beach club featuring a professional Dometic Eskimo ice maker and bait box for fishing enthusiasts, plus the swim platform’s Transformer system that can be easily raised or lowered for convenient access, is a haven for water activities. And equipped with Magnus Shore Power Converters as well as upgraded VEEM Superyacht propellers, this FD100 is adaptable to various international power supplies, opening up countless possibilities for exploration.
Raising the Bar for R&R
The crowning feature of this FD100 is the strategic placement of the Jacuzzi at the bow of the uppermost Tri-Deck, an elevated position that provides sensational panoramic views. Complete with a retractable Hi-Lo TV that rotates to suit viewers from multiple vantage points, sumptuous seating, a wet bar, and sun pads, this space is primed for on-the-water enjoyment. Luxurious comfort extends to the boat deck just below, where the split-use skylounge maximizes the usable interior space. A clever design element is the use of wood-decorated horizontal-grain panels for the lifting screen and a hidden door between the skylounge and wheelhouse, which provides enhanced privacy without compromising the flow of the interior styling.
For large-group outdoor entertaining, the bridge deck aft is the place to be. The bar counter here (as well as on the main deck aft) showcases a unique wave-inspired design, incorporating clean white lines and subtle strip lighting to create a sophisticated yet relaxed lounge atmosphere. A thoughtful layout with freestanding furniture, comprising host chairs and an L-shaped sofa, offer flexibility for various entertainment setups.
A testament to Horizon Yachts’ unwavering commitment to design excellence and meticulous customization, the FD100 Hull 13 epitomizes the very best of the yachting lifestyle.
