How Are Horizon Yachts Built?
Each Horizon motor yacht is constructed using the most advanced composites technology. Horizon uses a vacuum assisted resin transfer molding (VARTM) process that incorporates the most advanced technologies and processes – from resin research & development and materials testing to one-shot 6D hull infusion and aerospace-grade non-destructive testing (NDT) methods – to ensure the most lightweight, durable and uncompromised hulls and superstructures possible. Learn more about Horizon’s leading construction techniques on the “Technology” page of our website.
How Long is the Build Process?
Each Horizon yacht model offers a variety of layouts, designs and options for personal customization, which will determine the length of the build process. Horizon’s experienced in-house naval architects, engineers and interior designers collaborate with each client to tailor the yacht to the client’s preferences. Horizon believes in the spirit of collaboration, which provides the client the creative, hands-on ability to develop a yacht that is a reflection of the client and the client’s lifestyle.
